Just 5 minutes drive from Joe and Jennie’s house we stayed in a beautiful little home that was perfect place to rest our heads each night.
Soccer and Family BBQ
We enjoyed cheering on Riley at his soccer game! His favorite sport, was so fun to see him play!
Then a family BBQ where Joe smoked up some amazing food. Was lovely to see Carla, Anthony, and Jennie’s entire family. Full bellies and tired bodies!
Port Adelaide and Footie
A fun day exploring! Touring Joe’s new office space at Clarke Energy, walking around Port Adelaide, and enjoying a Crowes footie match at the Oval with 50,000 fans and cousin Liam serving us food!
Koalas, Kangaroos and all the Aussie animals at Gorge Wildlife Park
Visiting Gorge Wildlife Park, driving through the beautiful south Australian landscapes, strolling through the shops in Hahndorf, past Joe and Jennie’s first home in the hills, and a stop at Mount Lofty. Followed by a lovely dinner at Jutta and Manfreds’s house! What a fun full day!

Exploring Adelaide
We spent a full day with cousins exploring downtown Adelaide.
Taking out paddle boats, getting a tour on the Popeyes river cruise, and enjoying exploring the Zeiher Brochu hometown!
Kittery to Adelaide!
45 hours of travel from Kittery, Maine to Adelaide Australia. Departed for Logan airport at 5:15am Monday. Flew Boston to Los Angeles.
Had a 10 hour layover in LA. We visited the Santa Monica Pier, and walked Venice beach.
Enjoying some fresh air, sunshine, ocean breezes, and salad lunch before our big 15 hour flight.
Landed in Sydney Australia at 7am. Had a 5 hour layover prior to boarding our afternoon flight to Adelaide.
We finally made it! We were surprised to see everyone’s smiling faces as we exited the airplane! What a treat!!
Singing in the Rain!
What a full weekend! 3 middle school plays, two soccer games, and final pack/prep for our Australian adventure!!

Oliver, the lead in Singing in the Rain! I can’t believe it! I had no idea what to expect and you were amazing! So many songs, so many lines, so many dance steps! I am constantly in awe by your willingness to try new things, put yourself out there, and have fun along the way! You are a leader, keep up the good work! This was a ton of work, and you took it all in stride! I’m so so so proud of you!
Easter celebrations 2026
What a lovely Easter with family and friends! So happy to catch up with uncle Zach, Mae and Max! A rainy day didn’t hold these cousins back from fun and craziness!
